Privacy policy
This policy covers the Haard website and waitlist. Research participants receive separate privacy information.
Who we are
Solvra BV is responsible for processing your data at Haard. Send questions or requests to privacy@haard.app.
What data we process
- Your email address and language when you join the waitlist. If you answer the question after signing up, we also keep that choice with your subscription.
- We count page requests, waitlist signups and unsubscribes, and demo votes. We do this on the server without browser tracking or an identifier linking your visits together.
- Your vote on a demo feature, if you give one. We store the vote, feature, language, and time without linking them to your subscription.
- Technical data, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver the website and prevent abuse.
How we use it
We use your subscription to email you about the launch. An optional interest choice helps us make those messages relevant. You consent to this by signing up.
We use statistics and feedback to improve the website and our family app. We rely on our legitimate interests for the processing needed for server-side baseline counts and security. We use browser analytics, analytics cookies and session recordings only with your consent. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and session recordings
We remember your language choice with a functional cookie lasting 30 days. After you vote, a functional cookie remembers that you have voted for up to 180 days. These cookies carry out your choices; we do not use them for analytics.
Without permission, we load no browser analytics and make no session recordings. With your permission, we use PostHog to measure pages, clicks, campaign data, browser performance and technical errors, recognise return visits and make masked session recordings. Input fields and the signup card are masked. We do not link new signups and answers to your email address in PostHog.
You can allow, refuse, or turn off browser analytics, analytics cookies and session recordings through ‘Cookies’. Analytics cookies last up to 180 days; local analytics storage and your cookie preference remain until you clear or change them. Withdrawing permission removes analytics storage. You can also clear browser storage yourself.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription and interest choice for the waitlist until launch. Unsubscribing stops waitlist emails. You can also ask us to delete your data. A minimal unsubscribe record may remain necessary to prevent further emails.
We use visit-level data to compare usage, interest, and the performance of campaigns and website versions. Once a comparison is complete, we delete or anonymise the related visit-level data unless it is still needed for another ongoing comparison. We regularly check whether anonymous results would suffice for those comparisons; as soon as they do, we delete or anonymise the visit-level data. Statistics previously linked to your email address retain their earlier deadline: launch or 24 months after signup, whichever comes first. We keep session recordings for up to 30 days. Demo votes in our own storage expire after 180 days.
We keep technical security data for as long as needed to investigate and resolve an incident or abuse. Results from which nobody can be identified may be kept without a fixed end date.
Who processes your data
We use service providers for hosting, security, email, and analytics. They receive the data needed for their service. Some processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, under an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Email privacy@haard.app for information about the parties involved and a copy of the safeguards.
Research
Questionnaires and interviews have separate privacy information (in Dutch). You receive it before taking part.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, and, where applicable, portability of your data. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Email privacy@haard.app.
You can unsubscribe using the link in our emails. You can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The date above marks the last substantive change.
